We have several divisions within the Kansas Counseling Association for your specific interests or your career areas. Many counselors throughout the state of Kansas are involved in the nine different divisions which all also have their own boards, by-laws, policies, and events. We encourage all counselors to get involved!
Kansas Association for Adult Development & Aging (KAADA) advocates for adult development and again issues, addresses counseling concerns across the lifetime.
Kansas Association of Addictions & Offender Counselors (KAAOC) advocates the development of effective counseling and rehabilitation programs for people with substance abused problems.
Kansas Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (KACES) emphasizes the need for quality education and supervision of counselors for all work settings.
Kansas Association of Multicultural Counselors & Development (KAMCD) strives to improve cultural, ethnic, and facial empathy and understanding by programs to advanced and sustain personal growth.
Kansas Association of Marriage and Family Counselors (KAMFC) develops healthy family systems through prevention, education, and therapy.
Kansas Association for Specialists in Group Work (KASGW) establishes standards for professional training, supports research, and dissemination of knowledge.
Kansas College Counseling Association (KCCA) fostering student development in colleges, universities, and community colleges.
Kansas Career Development Association (KCDA) provides professional development, connection, publication advocacy to career development professionals who inspire and empower in individuals to achieve their career/life.
Kansas Mental Health Counselors Association (KMHCA) is an interdisciplinary division dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality of mental health counseling.
